Our Team

Meet Terry (Hood) Fitzgerald, Owner-Stylist

My sophomore year in high school I had to make a decision… I wanted to lay bricks or go to beauty school. So, my Junior year I started attending beauty college. I graduated high school and beauty school the same year… and when my feet hit the ground, I was gone (You can ask my Mom). I was very fortunate to join a salon that educated me very well. Within two years I had met Jose Ebear, Michael Cole and was introduced to the work of many famous artist such as Toni & Guy and Martin Parson’s. I have seen a lot of changes over the years and even today hair styles and colors are changing all of the time. I feel it is very important to continue my education even though Indiana no longer requires it. It keeps me stay on the upbeat and ready for the challenges in today’s society and forever changing world.

I totally love my job…I love meeting new people and helping them better themselves. After 29 years of my job, I know I should have a degree in psychology …many of my clients would attest to that. I enjoy making people feel good.  If I had to choose a favorite service in our salon…it would be color. It amazes me how color can change someone… even if it is a small change, the difference can be amazing.  It can brighten up a person like never before. It can lift you up… it can make you stand out and my favorite…color can turn gray into youth…awesome!!! I love color. I have been very blessed with success and happiness throughout my career. It is important to me to keep my priorities straight and to know who is in charge!
